ELEPHANT SPRAY

This image was taken on the Linyanti River in Northern Botswana. It is easy to spend large amounts of time watching elephants, but even more so near water. For most animals water is fraught with danger and approached with great caution, however, elephants often almost run toward it and then after the serious business of drinking and bathing is done, they play, swooshing their trunks and feet, rolling and squirting water into the air.
