ELEPHANT MUD BATH

In the arid Savuti Channel in Northern Botswana, one can almost feel the bliss of elephants after they bathe in the warm mud of the waterholes. The mud provides many positive effects, from cooling them down, to providing a natural ‘sun screen’ and also enabling them to rid themselves of parasites on their skin.
