MOTHER AND CUBS

Mombo Camp, on the tip of Chief’s Island in the centre of the Okavango Delta, has an incredible amount of wildlife in its varied terrain. This female cheetah is sighted often and has a successful history of raising her cubs, this is her third known litter and each time she has produced 3 cubs. The cubs in this image are about four months old, sadly one cub has been lost.

This image has been hand processed on warm tone fibre based paper, fixed, hypo-cleared, washed, selenium toned and washed again to the requirements of ANSI archival standards, by Dennis da Silva, one of the most respected craftsman in his field in South Africa.
